Buddha Hall in Greece
STROHBOiD Pavilion by the Sea: The Story of Peli Kastri
Nestled in the hills of southern Pelion, Greece, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, Peter and Elisabeth Riedl have created a place that unites nature, tranquility, and togetherness with our pavilion. They lovingly call it their “Buddha Hall” – an open, light-filled space for yoga, meditation, and seminars. The result is a retreat that blends harmoniously into the Greek landscape while meeting the highest ecological standards.
70 m² of Sustainable Outdoor Space: Architecture that Breathes
As an extension of their retreat and guesthouse near Kastri Beach, Peter and Elisabeth were looking for a solution that would quickly and sustainably create additional space for weather-independent events and seminars. They found it in the STROHBOiD Pavilion – a structure that meets their needs while uniting the following:
- Form and Function – aesthetic architecture designed for extreme weather conditions
- Sustainable Construction – CO₂-neutral, handcrafted in Austria from locally sourced solid wood
- LVL Wood Stronger than Steel – thanks to advanced engineering and precision craftsmanship
- 70 m² of Outdoor Space – weatherproof and usable year-round for more than 60 people
- High USP Value – a patented, paraboloid design that serves as an architectural centerpiece
