Maximilian Schade comes from a family of architects and developed a propensity for tinkering and construction at a young age. After graduating from high school, he started working on construction sites and also discovered his talent as a graffiti artist. His fine sense of aesthetics runs through his life and his works like a red thread. Max Schade studied architecture at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, at the Technical University of Lisbon and finally at the TU Graz, where he also completed his master's degree.
The father of two shares his passion for natural building and his unwavering intention to create a more sustainable environment for the next generation with his fellow student, Fritz Walter. He knows about the advantages that building materials such as straw, wood and clay offer for both the health and well-being of people and nature. Since the inception of STROHBOID in 2018, Max Schade has led the company and is also responsible for architecture, strategy, product development and budgeting.
